NASCAR has fined Ted A. Kennedy, crew chief for the #51 Dodge driven by Kevin Conway, $5,000 due to an infraction found last week during NASCAR Busch Series pre-practice and qualifying inspections at Daytona International Speedway. Kennedy was penalized under Section 12-4-A of the NASCAR Rule Book (actions detrimental to stock car racing); and Section 12-4-Q (any determination by NASCAR Officials that parts and/or equipment used in the Event do not conform to NASCAR rules).
