Jayski was at the Silent Candlelight Tribute for Dale Earnhardt on Feb 18th at DEI, would guess 300-400 people showed up, fans came from many places all over the country. DEI set up some nice heaters for folks and boards were set up for fans to leave their thoughts and messeages. Dale Beaver, minister from Motorsports Outreach, spoke around 8:20pm/et and spoke of his rememberances of Earnhardt and gave quite an inspirational talk. Candles and a nice dated commemorative decal was given out [one per person]. 2004 Tribute Candle [not given out or available at the tribute] are now available, please call 1-877-DEI-ZONE (9663), all Tribute Candle’s ordered between 2/18 – 3/3 will be at a special price. Teresa Earnhardt, Taylor Nicole, Dale’s brother and sister, Richie Gilmore, John Andretti, Tony Gibson and about a dozen or so other employees were at the Tribute also, but kept a low profile.(2-19-2004)
