The newborn daughter of NASCAR driver Joe Nemechek, who has been in the hospital for nearly two weeks with a bacterial infection, was expected to go home Friday night. “She had a very high fever, and they’ve run all these tests and had her on antibiotics all this time,” Nemechek said of his third child, Kennedy. “She’s going to be tough when she grows up, because they’ve stuck her with so many needles and she just keeps pulling them out. Thank goodness everything now is OK, but they had to make sure because her fever was so high.”(Charleston Post and Courier)(5-29-2004)
