ppc Racing officials announced the hire of Jamie Jones as crew chief for the #10 Ford Power StrokeR Diesel by InternationalR team in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Jones, a well-noted NASCAR Busch Series crew chief, will make his truck debut at Dover International Speedway June 4th, giving Jones one week to prepare with driver Terry Cook and the ppc Racing team for the “Monster Mile” and the rest of the 2004 racing season. “Our search for a crew chief was quite extensive,” said Keith Barnwell, Co-Owner and General Manager at ppc Racing. “We interviewed several qualified candidates over the last month and felt Jamie was the best of the group. We want both our teams to be in championship-contending form. We’ve had Wes Ward serve as interim crew chief during this time period and he’s helped elevate our truck program to contending for the win.
