Tracey Judd has been named Manager of Communications for the NASCAR Busch Series. Judd assumes her new duties immediately. She replaces Rick Houston, who resigned the position. Judd joined NASCAR in June of 2002 as Manager of Communications for the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series and NASCAR Busch Series. Previously, she spent three years as the Director of Media Relations for Major League Soccers Tampa Bay Mutiny. Judds experience in sports publicity extends to 1984 and includes a 15-year stint in collegiate sports information. She served as assistant sports information director at the University of Texas-El Paso, Director of Public Relations for the Sun Belt Conference and associate sports information director for the University of South Florida, respectively. Judd also served as a U.S. Olympic Press Officer for the 1988 Winter Games in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and as a Press Officer for the 1999 NCAA Mens Final Four basketball tournament.
