#52-Ken Schrader, whose last NASCAR national touring series pole came in November 1999, won the Budwesier pole for the O’Reilly 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway. The rest of the top five were #42-Mike Skinner, #75-David Starr, #15-Shane Hmiel and #99-Carl Edwards. Schrader was one of 19 drivers to break the track record. Schrader’s pole run was 126.922mph. Schrader last sat on the pole in a NASCAR Cup race at Talladega Superspeedway in April 1999.
