Drivers at Colorado National Speedway are probably breathing a collective sigh of relief. That’s because Jerry Robertson, the 2004 Rocky Mountain News Oval Driver of the Year, will not be a weekly competitor at the track next season. Robertson, who won his second consecutive Horizon Banks Late Model title and third overall on the three-eighths-mile paved oval, is in the process of securing a ride with a NASCAR Busch team for next season.
