Jose Luis Ramirez is going to drive Performance Motorsport/Joe Nava’s # 77 Grand National West car in 2005 with full sponsorship from Del Valle (A Mexican Fruit Juice Company). Ramirez finished in the 10th in series points in 2004 driving the #17 car. The team plans to run four Busch Series races in 2005 including Mexico [which is Ramirez’s home track]. Other raced planned are California, Phoenix and possibly Las Vegas. The team will field Ford’s with Bob John’s as the crew chief. Performance Motorsports also plans to field an entry in the NASCAR Busch Series with Ramirez as the driver. Events planned for this venture include California Speedway, Mexico City (Jose Luis’ home track), Phoenix and Las Vegas.
