Jason Rudd tests for Brevak:

Brevak Racing announced today that they will be testing driver Jason Rudd for the 2005 Daytona test session this January. Rudd, the nephew of NASCAR Nextel Cup Series driver Ricky Rudd, will test the #31 Brevak Racing Dodge at Daytona in hopes of gaining some seat time and a possible spot in the #31 for the season opener at Daytona. “We’re excited to be heading to Daytona for the test with Jason,” said Shelly Brevak. “We are continually working to complete a package that will allow us to run full time once again in 2005. The Daytona test is the first step and we’ll look at our options afterwards.” Although a Rudd, Jason has made it to the elite levels of NASCAR on his own work ethic and skill. He (Jason) has spent his time over the past two seasons making starts in ARCA, the Busch Series and ASA. Rudd finished a career high of third at Kentucky Speedway in ARCA. Brevak Racing remains one of the few original NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series teams on the circuit today.
