NASCAR Busch Series team owner Armando Fitz was involved in a snowmobile accident Friday afternoon just outside Utica, NY. Fitz and NASCAR Busch Series driver Tim Fedewa were participating in an annual snowmobile tournament sponsored by Goulds Pumps, a sponsor on one of Fitzs race cars. Fitz suffered a broken arm and broken leg along with other minor injuries. He is expected to return to Charlotte following medical evaluation.(FBR PR)
UPDATE: Armando Fitz returned home early Saturday morning with a broken wrist and leg. He is resting comfortably and will follow up with his physician on Tuesday.(FBR PR)(1-29-2005)
