Bodine gets a sponsor for Daytona:

GIC-24 Racing and GIC Mixon Motorsports today announced Golf Closeout Warehouse as a sponsor for the NASCAR Nextel Cup #93 and the NASCAR Busch Series #24 cars for Daytona Speedweeks activities. Founded in 1995, Golf Closeout Warehouse is America’s largest liquidator of golf merchandise, including apparel, clubs, balls and accessories. The company has marketed merchandise in 52 different locations during the past 18 months, using a unique format in which it spends from as little as 30 days to as long as ten months in each market. Golf Closeout Warehouse is currently operating in four Florida locations–Clearwater, Sarasota, Fort Myers and Naples–and in Brownsville, TX. The Daytona Beach store is next to Ruby Tuesday in the Volusia Point Shopping Center directly across from Daytona U.S.A. on International Speedway Boulevard. “We’re excited to join the GIC team,” said company founder and president Greg Hayes. “We’re launching our website store, www.GCWE.com, and we like the idea of linking with cars driven by Geoff Bodine and Kim Crosby during Daytona Speedweeks.” The #93 GIC Mixon Motorsports Chevrolet will compete in the Budweiser Shootout and qualifying activities for the Daytona 500 with Geoffrey Bodine driving. The #24 GIC-24 Racing Chevrolet will compete for a spot in the Hershey’s Take 5 300 NASCAR Busch Series race on February 19.(PSE-3 PR)(2-13-2005)
