Mark Martin will be looking to get into victory lane on a number of occasions during this years Daytona Speedweeks, but he is assured of a least one trip to Gatorade Victory Lane. Martin, who kicks off his Salute To You Tour this weekend, will serve as the honorary Best Man at the wedding of Survivor Vanuatu Islands winner Chris Daugherty to Lorie Groves. The wedding is being held in Gatorade Victory lane on Sunday morning at Daytona International Speedway. Now those are some real NASCAR fans, said Martin. They wanted to get married at Daytona and I was asked if I could attend. We figured why not, so we are going to go over there and help them out a little. Its a good way to kind of dive into the Salute Tour. I understand they are pretty big fans of mine, so hopefully this will be a good way to say thanks. It takes a lot of desire to win on that show and I can sure appreciate that, added Martin. Nobody understands sacrifice and commitment more than the people in this NASCAR garage, so its a fitting combination.
