Paramount Health Care, the largest health provider based in northwest Ohio, will sponsor the Paramount Health Insurance 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Michigan International Speedway. The Paramount Health Insurance 200 will take place on June 18, a day prior to the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Batman Begins 400 race on June 19. It is the second straight year MIS and Paramount Health Care have partnered to sponsor a race. In 2004, Paramount Health Care sponsored the Paramount Health Insurance 100 IRL Infiniti Pro Series race in August. Two health care facilities that are in close proximity to MIS, Adrian’s Bixby Medical Center and Tecumseh’s Herrick Memorial Hospital, are both members of ProMedica Health System. Tickets are still available for all June 17-19 activities at MIS, with children 12 and under admitted free to Friday’s ARCA RE/MAX Hantz 200 and the Paramount Health Insurance 200 on Saturday. Tickets are $40 for the Paramount Health Insurance 200. In addition, tickets are still available for the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Batman Begins 400 on Sunday, June 19.
