#16-Greg Biffle dominated the last half of MBNA Racepoints 400 at Dover International Speedway, leading 150 of the final 160 laps to win his 1st race at Dover, 4th of the 2005 season and 7th in his career. Biffle is the 27th driver to win at Dover. The rest of the top five were #5-Kyle Busch, #6-Mark Martin, #48-Jimmie Johnson and #2-Rusty Walllace. Johnson maintains the points lead but Biffle cut it to 46 points going into Pocono next week. #24-Jeff Gordon and #21-Ricky Rudd got wrecked early and ended their day on lap 41. #18-Bobby Labonte lost an engine for his 6th DNF of the season. #20-Tony Stewart finished 15th, a lap down, but had incidents with #24-Gordon [tapped and into the turn 2 wall], #48-Johnson and #10-Scott Riggs [who made a nice save]. There were only 7 caution periods for 33 laps [4 for legit debris, other for accidents] so we only had 11 drivers on the lead lap. Only five drivers led laps with 9 lead changes, Biffle led the most with 150. Biffle smacked the outside frontstretch wall with the rear of the car during a victory donut, no major damage.
