#16-Biffle stayed out during the last caution and leader at the time [lap 168] #20-Tony Stewart stopped for 4 tires, and Biffle was never challenged after that and won the Batman Begins 400 at Michigan International Speedway for his 5th win of 2005 and 8th career win. Biffle led 63 laps, #20-Stewart led the most with 97 and finished 2nd. Rounding out the top-5 were #6-Mark Martin, #17-Matt Kenseth and #99-Carl Edwards. Points leader #48-Jimmie Johnson finished 19th and his points lead has dwindled to 49. #24-Jeff Gordon fought an ill-handling car and finished 32nd and is now out of the chase as is #8-Dale Earnhardt Jr. who finished 17th. Only 4 caution flags for 23 laps and 19 lead changes by 11 drivers.
