History will be made Tuesday night [July 26] at Lowe’s Motor Speedway as Mike Wallace [driver of the #4 Lucas Oil Chevy in Cup] will race for the first time against his daughter Chrissy during the Summer Shootout in the Thunder Roadsters race. Mike is filling in for Tom VanWingerden in his Legends car and Thunder Roadster as Tom is high in the owner points, but unable to attend the races Tuesday night. The Legends car is in the Masters division (Chrissy races in the Semi-Pro Legends division), but the Roadsters are in the same class. This one off opportunity will put father and daughter in the same race for the first time in history.(Motorsportslounge)
