Andretti in the #15 for IRP and Nashville MORE:

Billy Ballew has appointed John Andretti as driver of the #15 Billy Ballew Motorsports entry for the next two NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series events at Indianapolis Raceway Park (IRP) and Nashville Superspeedway to be held Friday, August 5 and Saturday, August 13, respectively. Andretti has competed in the #15 Chevrolet in two events already this season and racked up top-10 finishes in both races held at Kansas Speedway and Memphis Motorsports Park. And with a little help from a friend, the Billy Ballew Motorsports team will be sponsored when they head to Indianapolis this weekend. To help support his and the team;s efforts at IRP Friday evening, Andretti called upon good friend, Jeff Stoops of Stoops Freightliner. Stoops Freightliner, one of the largest dealerships in the country, has agreed to come on board for the race in their hometown of Indianapolis. Stoops Freightliner, one of the country’s largest Freightliner dealerships, will be the primary sponsor. Andretti contacted Jeff Stoops, owner of Stoops Freightliner, who obliged simply out of friendship. Andretti and Stoops go way back to Andretti’s earlier racing days when he competed in USAC competition, as Stoops Freightliner was formerly a sponsor of USAC. Pedigo Chevrolet has also agreed to join the Billy Ballew Motorsports team this weekend at IRP. Gary Pedigo, owner and president of Pedigo Chevrolet, is also the co-owner of Panther Racing, one of the top-performing Indy Racing League teams with drivers Tomas Scheckter, Tomas Enge and Buddy Lazier. It’s only fitting that Indy’s #1 Chevrolet dealership partner with one of Chevrolet’s top NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team, Billy Ballew Motorsports, who currently sits fourth in the owners points standings. The third local supporter of Billy Ballew Motorsports this weekend is the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC).
