Road coarse specialist Anthony Lazzaro will be filling in for NASCAR Nextel Cup regular Kevin Lepage for this weekends road coarse race at Watkins Glen. Lepage made the decision late this week to have Lazzaro fill in for him, as he thought it would be better for the team to put a more experienced road course driver in the driver’s seat of the #37 Patrón Tequila Dodge Charger for Watkins Glen. “It was a tough decision to make because no driver wants to give up their seat at anytime for any race” says Lepage. “But I thought it would be better for the team to have a more experienced road course driver take the wheel for this weekend’s race at the Glen. Anthony has a lot of experience on road courses and I thought he would be a good fill in for me. I know Anthony well; he drove for my Matrix Motorsports Busch Team back in 2003 at Kansas.
