Stacy Compton, current driver of the #59 ST Motorsports Ford, has been rumored to be a top contender for a Dodge backed entry in 2006. Another option via the grapevine, is that he would return to the Craftsman Truck Series in a Toyota Tundra. Ive stayed in touch with Dodge folks throughout the years. Someone in passing said a while ago, Wed love to work with you again, but that was it and I havent talked to the Dodge people, Compton said. As for his rumored move to a Toyota Tundra CTS effort, Compton says the speculation is blown out of proportion after a near miss, one-time deal in Indianapolis.
