#39-Ryan Newman won the Domino’s Pizza 250 at Michigan International Speedway for his 3nd win in a row and of the yerat and 3rd of his career, Newman also won at Waykins Glen last week. Newman took advantage of a caution flag late in the race, bunching the field and passed #66-Greg Biffle for the win, Biffle ended up 2nd, followed by #60-Carl Edwards, #8-Martin Truex Jr. and #18-J.J. Yeley. Points leader Truex Jr. increased his points lead over #2-Clint Bowyer to 204 points, Bowyer finished 30th.
