Robert Yates Racing will likely go after a top-name crew chief [Tommy Baldwin? see my #38 Team News page for that] to serve as the leader of Elliott Sadler’s #38 team next season, the team said Friday at Dover International Raceway. The two-car operation moved Todd Parrott back to head Dale Jarrett’s #88 team this week. The two won the championship in 1999, but the pair split after the 2001 season. #38-Elliott Sadler will run the final nine races with engineer Kevin Buskirk atop the pit box. “I am just here on a temporary basis,” Buskirk said. “We will gain back some of the momentum that we lost.”(NASCAR.com)(9-24-2005)
