Jarit Johnson will make his first-ever start at Martinsville Speedway when he pilots the #08 Levi Strauss Signature Chevy Silverado in the Truck Series race on Saturday. Johnson, who made his NCTS debut a few weeks ago at Richmond International Raceway, will drive for the SS Racing Team in alliance with Green Light Racing for his second of two starts this year. Johnson’s goal this weekend is clear: a spot in the top 10. Like Richmond, Johnson will once again be lead by crew chief, Carl Hartman, who has worked with drivers such as three-time ASA champion Butch Miller and the late Adam Petty. Levi Strauss Signature continues to support Johnson in his NCTS efforts and will once again serve as his primary sponsor at Martinsville.
