Baldwin leaving Evernham? UPDATE 4 Denied:

hearing that #9 crew chief, Tommy Baldwin could be leaving Evernham Motorsports and driver Kasey Kahne. There had been rumors he could be headed to Hendrick Motorsports and #24-Jeff Gordon, but Hendrick Motorsports says they are committed to new crew chief, Steve Letarte, for the rest of 2005 and for the 2006 season.
UPDATE: hearing Baldwin could end up at the #38 M&M’s/Robert Yates Racing team as Elliott Sadler’s crew chief, replacing Todd Parrott.(9-19-2005)
UPDATE 2: Baldwin recently signed a contract with Evernham Motorsports that runs thru 2010. “The only way I would leave, I guess is if Ray [Evernham] threw me out,” say Baldwin. “We’re not talking with him,” Yates Team Manager Eddie D’Hondt said. “He’s got a pretty strong contract where he is and he’s happy where he is.” [Evernham and #9 Kahne](NASCAR Scene Magazine)(10-1-2005)
UPDATE 3 – it’s back… hearing once again that #9 Crew Chief, Tommy Baldwin will be parting ways with Evernham Motorsports, could be after Atlanta or at the end of the season, no word this time, where he would end up.(10-29-2005)
UPDATE 4: There were rumors Tommy Baldwin, crew chief for Mayfield’s teammate #9-Kasey Kahne, wanted out [of Evernham Motorsports]. Baldwin said he’s not going anywhere.(Sporting News)(10-31-2005)
