Childers goes to Evernham; Randolph back as #10 crew chief UPDATE 2:

hearing that current #10 MB2 Motorsports team crew chief for Scott Riggs, Rodney Childers, will leave after the race at Texas so start working at Evernham, gettting ready of the new #10 Valvoline Dodge that Riggs will drive in 2006. Hearing former #10 MB2 crew chief, Doug Randolph will finish out the season with Riggs and supposedly will be Sterling Marlin’s crew chief on the #14 MB2 team in 2006.(11-4-2005)
UPDATE: Sterling Marlin will have Doug Randolph as crew chief next season in the #14 at MB2 Motorsports. The team’s current crew chief, Rodney Childers, will join Scott Riggs at Evernham Motorsports.(Sporting News)(11-7-2005)
UPDATE 2: MB2 Motorsports announced that Doug Randolph will be the crew chief for the team’s #14 Chevrolet, which will be driven by Sterling Marlin in 2006. MB2 also announced that Randolph will replace Rodney Childers as crew chief of Scott Riggs’ #10 Valvoline team for the remaining two races of 2005. MB2’s #10 will change to #14 next season. Randolph joined MB2 following the 2003 season as crew chief for Riggs’ Chevrolet. He held that post until June of this year when he was named race coordinator and driver development manager. As MB2’s driver development manager, Randolph worked closely with 20-year-old Kraig Kinser and directed the sprint car racer to a pair of strong performances in the ARCA RE/MAX Series.(MB2 Motorsports PR)(11-8-2005)
