Donnie Neuenberger and Austin Cox, Jr. announce the creation of their new company AD Motorsports, Inc. AD Motorsports is based in Salisbury Maryland. Donnie Neuenberger takes his Maryland base operations to join those of Austin Cox to form AD Motorsports. Donnie has managed his 13 year race career from Maryland and will continue to do so in this next chapter of NASCAR racing. In 2000 Neuenberger stepped up to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series working with Rick Ware of Ware Racing of Thomasville, NC. 2006 has Neuenberger and Ware together again in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Cup Series. Ware Racing has been participating in the Nextel Cup level racing over the past two years [#52 car, 4 attempts failed to qualify and in 2004 made a race]. Neuenberger will begin the 2006 schedule participating in the Daytona speed weeks activities including the Twin 150’s as part of the Daytona 500 race events. An eight (8) race schedule in the NASCAR Nextel Cup series will include 2 races at Daytona, Dover, Texas and Talladega. Super speedways are where Neuenberger has had his best results while participating in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck series and most recently the NASCAR Busch series. Neuenberger has competed in the NASCAR Busch series the past three (3) years. Stepping up into the Nextel Cup series will include three long time sponsors of Neuenberger’s. Bay Area Goodyear Tires owned by Craig Arch will continue support. BG Products Maryland distributor owned by Corky Crovato will also continue to support the Nextel Cup team as an associate. Plan B Technologies owned by Donnie Downs and Curtis Eshelman continue associate sponsorship.
