Mike Wallace plans to attempt 2006 Daytona 500, looking for other Daytona rides and a full season seat. “I will be down in Daytona for speedweeks, and I will be with a team attempting to make the field for the 2006 Daytona 500,” said Wallace. “I am also looking for opportunities to race in the Craftsman Truck Series race and the Busch Series race there in Daytona.” The car and team Wallace will attempt to make the 2006 Daytona 500 field in will be named in the future. Wallace also said he is looking at running the full 2006 Nextel Cup Series season. “We are working on some opportunities to run the full 2006 Nextel Cup season.
