AM Speeds: 44 drivers in 76 cars took to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Tuesday, Jan. 31st. The fastest in the AM test was #26-Jamie McMurray [his 2 cars were 1-2] with a speed of 169.316mph [track record is 174.904 set in Mar 2004], followed by #2-Kurt Busch, #6-Mark Martin, #17-Matt Kenseth and #31-Jeff Burton. Todd Bodine was in the #03 Chevy, Bobby Hamilton Jr. was in the #04 Dodge, Larry Foyt in the #50 Dodge.
PM Speeds: 44 drivers in 68 cars took to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Tuesday, Jan. 31st. The fastest in the PM session was #66-Jeff Green at 169.263, followed by #31-Jeff Burton, #42-Casey Mears, #8-Dale Earnhardt Jr. and #9-Kasey Kahne.
