#24-Jeff Gordon won the 2nd Gatorade Duel 150 with #5-Busch finishing 2nd followed by #26-McMurray, #43-Labonte and #6-Martin. #7-Gordon and #09-Mike Wallace raced their way into the Daytona 500, with #10-Riggs and #78-Kenny Wallace just missing the Daytona 500. #32-Kvapil finished 26 but gets in by speed. With #7-Gordon racing into the Daytona 500; #27-Shelmerdine gets the final spot by speed with #96-Labonte starting 43rd using the Past Champions Provisional.
