#38-Elliott Sadler won the 1st Gatorade Duel 150 with #99-Edwards finishing 2nd followed by #8-Earnhardt Jr., #48-Johnson and #17-Kenseth. #36-Elliott and #61-Lepage raced their way into the Daytona 500, with #23-Skinner and #74-Cope just missing. #00-Hermie Sadler finished 29th/last but gets in by speed. With Elliott racing into the Daytona 500. #7-Gordon is now in the race at least by speed. Three drivers are now locked in by speed #32-Kvapil, #00-Sadler and #7-Gordon; #96-Labonte is locked in by a Champ Prov.
