Driver X Winner, Erik Darnell was the Raybestos Rookie of the Race in the GM FlexFuel 250 at Daytona. Darnell finished 6th in his series debut, and the only Rookie to finish inside the top 10. Darnell holds a six-point lead (16-10) over Robert Richardson in the standings. Todd Kluever was the Raybestos Rookie in the 2005 race in California grabbing a fourth-place finish. David Reutimann is the most recent Raybestos Rookie to lead a lap at California 2004 race once for seven laps. Kurt Busch is the only Raybestos Rookie to win from the pole at California (2000), and is one of only two drivers to win from the pole in a Truck Series race at California.
