Kim Crosby of Slidell, La., will join the team as soon as sponsorship contracts are finalized, Cicci said Wednesday by phone from his Mooresville, N.C., shop. “We’re not sure what her potential is because she has never been in any top-notch equipment,” Cicci said. “We’ve got to see what we have and try to make the best of it.” Crosby was with the team at Daytona and even helped the crew by serving as the rear tire carrier for Tracy.
