Evernham Motorsports has announced that the #98 Cheerios/Betty Crocker Truck Series team will adopt the leadership approach featuring a team director, car director and engineer used by Evernham’s Cup teams beginning with this weekend’s race at Martinsville Speedway. Evernham Motorsports has promoted Ronnie Hornaday III to take over the duties of truck director. Hornaday has been serving as the truck chief and front tire carrier for the #98. Following Martinsville, Evernham will also add a new engineer. The # 9 Busch Series Team Director Trip Bruce and engineer Mike Wolf will also be in Martinsville assisting with the setup and changes on the #98 truck.
