Ron Hornaday driving the #33 Kevin Harvick, Inc.led 131 laps and after surviving numerous restarts, managed to stay in the lead and win the City of Mansfield 250 at Mansfield Speedway. This was Hornaday’s 28th career win in the Truck Series. There were a record 18 cautions during the race. Late pit strategy twarted the “Germain duo” of Todd Bodine and Ted Musgrave, who finished 15th and 16th respectively. First rookie; #12 Joey Miller with a 5th place finish. Mike Greenwell; had his share of knocks and spins but managed to finish his first Truck Series event in 27th place. On lap 47 Kyle Krisiloff stopped on the track,causing the caution to come out. He was later penalized a lap by NASCAR.(5-27-2006)
