Larry Foyt turns 30 next February, and he says it might be time to think about what his future holds. Foyt, the son of A.J. Foyt, doesn’t have a full-time ride in either the Indy Racing League or NASCAR. He will race Sunday in the Indy 500 in one of his father’s two IRL cars, but his future after that race is uncertain. With the exception of the Gatorade Duel at Daytona in February, Foyt hasn’t raced since last year’s Indy 500, when he suffered a lower back injury during a crash. He has been test-driving cars for Evernham Motorsports in North Carolina and trying unsuccessfully to find sponsorship for a ride in the NASCAR Busch Series.(Houston Chronicle)(5-27-2006)
