Starting on the outside pole is #2-Kurt Busch, followed by #9-Kasey Kahne, #25-Brians Vickers and #31-Jeff Burton. #44-Terry Labonte qualified 39th. The non-top 35 teams that made the race were: #40-Stremme, #78-Spencer, #55-Waltrip, #61-Chaffin, #32-Kvapil, #44-Labonte, #49-Lepage and #51-Garvey.
