Ron Hornaday Jr. in the #33-Kevin Harvick Racing Chevy picked up his second win for the 2006 season at Kentucky Speedway. Hornaday is the all-time winner in the Truck Series with a total of 29 wins. A restart with seven laps to go showed us some great side-by-side racing between the #14 of Rick Crawford and the #77 of Brendan Gaughan for second and third place. Crawford won the battle and finished second (his second in a row) with Gaughan coming in third. Rounding out the top five were the #23 of Johnny Benson and the #6 of David Ragan. Pole sitter, Marcos Ambrose led the most laps for the day-49, however, wound up one lap down with a 19th place finish. There were 8 cautions and 10 lead changes among 7 drivers.(7-8-2006)
