A tough battle over the last 16 laps of the race between the trucks of Crawford, Dennis Setzer, Ron Hornaday, and Mike Bliss, but through three late-race restarts, Rick Crawford maintained the lead to win the Power Stroke Diesel 200 at O’Reilly Motorsports Park in Indiana. It was Crawford’s fifth win in the Truck Series. Dennis Setzer held onto the second place position to gain his first top five finish of the season, with Ron Hornaday coming in third in the #33 KHI Chevy. Finishing in fourth was David Starr and rounding out the top five was the #16 of Mike Bliss. It was reported a record crowd was on hand at O’Reilly Motorsports Park. It was also the first time for the use of unleaded fuel in the Truck Series. There were six lead changes among 5 drivers and 11 cautions.(8-4-2006)
