Benson surprise winner at Nashville:

A green-white-checkered brought on some aggressive driving between race leader Mike Skinner and second place runner, Todd Bodine. Bodine got under Skinner on the restart giving Skinner a bump in the left rear, Skinner retaliates, getting up under Bodine causing them both to get a little sideways and up out of the groove; Skinner winds up in the wall and finishes 17th; Bodine 8th. Johnny Benson who looked to finish 3rd, winds up the winner of the coveted Gibson guitar. Jack Sprague finished second, with rookie, Marcos Ambrose finishing third. Rounding out the top five were Ted Musgrave in fourth and Brendan Gaughan in fifth. Tire problems took top drivers Rick Crawford, Dennis Setzer, Ron Hornaday, among others, out of the race. There were 9 cautions for 37 laps and 7 race leaders among 6 drivers during the race. Mike Skinner led the most laps at 49.(8-12-2006)
