Starting on the outside pole is #19-Elliott Sadler [in the first race in the ride], #17-Matt Kenseth, #12-Ryan Newman and #29-Kevin Harvick. #38-David Gilliland qualified 26th in the first effort in the RYR Ford. #8-Dale Earnhardt Jr. qualified 17th. The non-top 35 teams that made the race were: #19-Sadler, #55-Waltrip, #32-Kvapil, #74-Cope, #15-Menard, #06-Kluever, #49-Lepage and #00-Sadler.
