Turner Sports announced today that NEXTEL Cup Series driver Kyle Petty, driver of the #45 Petty Enterprises Dodge will make select appearances as an analyst on TNT’s 2006 Busch Series racing coverage this season. Petty, who appeared in the booth on Saturday’s Busch Series race from Dover, will work alongside play-by-play announcer Bill Weber and fellow analyst Wally Dallenbach for TNT’s Busch Series coverage at Kansas, Lowes, Texas and Homestead. Last month TNT allowed analyst Benny Parsons to concentrate on TNT/NBC’s NEXTEL Cup Series coverage while he recovers from cancer.(Petty/MCG PR)(9-25-2006)
