#20-Tony Stewart won the Banquet 400 at Kansas Speedway after running out of gas a few hundred feet from the start finish line, but was able to coast to the start/finish line before #42-Casey Mears, who also was running out of gas. The win is Stewart’s 3rd win of 2006 and 27th of his career and only led the 5 final laps. Mears ended up 2nd to tie his career best finished [2006 Daytona 500].
