This is the first time that Goodyear has brought this specific combination of left- and right-side tires to the track . . . while this right-side code (D-4022) was run at Charlotte in May, this left-side code (D-4074) is brand new . . . this tire set-up was tested recently at Charlotte with Kurt Busch and Joe Nemechek . . . both the NASCAR Nextel Cup and Busch Series teams will run on the same tire codes this weekend . . . as on all NASCAR ovals greater than one mile in length, teams are required to run liners in all four tire positions at Charlotte . . . air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire.
