in 2006 only one driver made all 36 races and did not use a Lucky Dog/Lap Back pass: #31-Jeff Burton. #14-Sterling Marlin and #88-Dale Jarrett used the pass the most times with 11 lucky dog passes used in 36 races. In 2006, two drivers benefitted from a Lucky Dog pass and won the race: #2-Kurt Busch at Bristol and #9-Kasey Kahne at Michigan. #26-McMurray [2nd at Dover], #8-Earnhardt Jr. [3rd at Atlanta], #6-Martin [3rd at Kansas], #99-Edwards [3rd at Charllotte], #43-Labonte [3rd at Martinsville], #16-Biffle [4th at Richmond and 5th at Dover in Sept] are the drivers this year to get a top five after using the pass. Since the Lucky Dog Pass came to be at Dover in September 2003, six drivers have won seven races after getting the pass.
