The second week of Nextel Cup testing was delayed by rain Monday morning at Daytona International Speedway. But the weather cleared, and a little before 11:00am/et, cars took to the 2.5-mile superspeedway. The noon lunch break for today will be canceled, and the teams will test until 5 p.m. There are 33 drivers at the second and final Nextel Cup session, which runs through Wednesday.(SceneDaily.com) SPEEDS: 34 drivers in 62 cars took laps at Daytona 500 Testing in Day 5 practice [with the early rain, speeds were combined for the day]: #38B-Gilliland (Ford) was the fastest at 185.090mph, followed by #36A-Mayfield (Toyota), #24A-Gordon (CHevy), #40-Stremme (Dodge) and #39B-Smith [in a 4th Ginn Racing Chevy].
