About 10 minutes into the Tuesday test session at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, #84-A.J. Allmendinger crashed again in the turn 2. Allmendinger looped the car coming out of two and damaged the drivers side. It appears Red Bull Racing is putting Allmendinger in the #83 Toyota back-up car of teammate Brian Vickers. Allmendinger also wrecked on Monday. A few minutes after Allmendinger wreck, #4-Ward Burton’s car blew a motor coming down the front stretch. Allmendinger ended up not getting in the #83 backup and was done for the day. #6-David Reagan slapped the wall about 15 minutes before the end of the test session. Flattened the right side and drove it back into the garage. According to #16-Greg Biffle the 6-car went out on new tires as the weather cooled down. #8-Dale Earnhardt Jr. lost a motor on Tuesday, his second of the test but Earnhardt Jr. is not worried about the engine problems as the first engine was caught it before it did too much damage while the other is completely lost. The DEI engine dept will look into what happened with those engines.(PRN’s Garage Pass Radio Show)(1-30-2007)
