Conz not cleared for Daytona, Cicci looking for driver there: UPDATE 3:

Brian Conz of Livonia, MI, is scheduled to drive the #34 Scottish Rite Chevy for owner Frank Cicci Jr. in 2007. Conz is a veteran of the ARCA/REMAX Series but has competed only sparingly in recent years. Supposedly because of his inactivity, Conz wasn’t approved by NASCAR to compete in the season-opening race at Daytona. The team has yet to sign a substitute driver for Conz at Daytona. Jeff Fuller tested the #34 Chevy at Daytona last month. Supposedly Randy LaJoie was considered but has other commitments and is not available.(paraphrased from the Elmira Star Gazette)(2-1-2007)
