UPDATE 2: John Andretti’s future with Braun Racing could be in jeopardy as sponsor Camping World makes a decision on its future in the Busch Series. “Yeah, he’s currently employed by us,” Braun said Friday. Will he be in a couple of weeks? “I don’t know,” Braun said. “I guess that’ll be determined in a couple of weeks. Camping World is not going to sponsor [us] in the Mexico race, and they were never scheduled to sponsor Las Vegas. The next scheduled race is Atlanta, and probably a decision will be made then.” Andretti, who is driving Front Row Motorsports’ #37 Nextel Cup car this weekend with Camping World sponsorship, said he didn’t know what was going on with Braun and no one from the team has informed him of any changes in his status. Andretti said he has a contract to drive a Braun car in Mexico City.(SceneDaily.com)(2-23-2007)
