NASCAR fans might not be interested in the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series race Saturday at Autodromo Hermano Rodrgiuez, but the guy starting on the pole likely will be in a NASCAR race by the end of the season. Colin Braun was one of the top drivers in Chevrolet’s racing combine last fall, and he said Friday that he had “lots of meetings” scheduled with NASCAR teams this weekend. That Braun put his Krohn Racing Pontiac on the pole for the Grand-Am race only boosts the interest in him.
