NASCAR announced that Mike Boerschinger, crew chief of the #87 Chevy driven by Joe Nemechek and Shane Wilson, crew chief of the #21 Chevy driven by Kevin Harvick in the Busch Series, have been penalized due to rule violations at Las Vegas. Both were fined $1,000 for violating Sections 12-4-A (actions detrimental to stock car racing), 12-4-Q (car, car parts, components and/or equipment used that do not conform to NASCAR rules) and 20A 12.1A: jacking bolt must be made of solid magnetic steel of the 2007 Busch Series Rule Book.
