Mark Melling has announced that Melling Engine Parts and Melling Select Performance Parts will serve as the primary sponsor for his friend, ESPN NASCAR Now Analyst Stacy Compton in Atlanta. Stacy will be driving Dave Fuge’s Xpress Motorsports #16 Ford Truck Friday night March 16th. Compton drove the Xpress Motorsports Melling sponsored Ford at the season opening event in Daytona placing 17th. He had a commitment with the Wood Brothers team and sponsor Zaxby’s at the California Speedway where he posted a 12th place finish two weeks ago. After 2 great runs, Stacy sits 12th in the 2007 Truck Series Driver Points and is seeking to schedule himself to race the full season if sponsorship permits.(Melling PR)(3-14-2007)
